It is our philosophy that these services should be tailored to meet the needs of the client. These needs are most often based upon the scope and complexity of the project, as well as the client's previous experience
with construction, the project budget and preferred method of delivery for the construction project. The following is an outline of some of the professional services that SMT Architects can provide:
- Assistance in establishing the scope of a project
- Assistance in determining the appropriate construction delivery method
- Development of the project design
- Establishment of the estimated cost of the proposed project
- Preparation of the construction documents necessary for obtaining building permits, bids from contractors, and construction of the project
- Assistance in the process of obtaining the permits necessary for construction
- Assistance in obtaining bids from contractors
- Periodic observation during the construction process to establish that the work is being performed in general conformance to the contract documents
- Final inspection of the project to verify that the work is complete
